Brazilian Butt Lifts in Austin

Butt Augmentation in Austin, TX

This procedure, also known as a Brazilian butt lift, can improve the shape, size, and contour of the buttocks. Implants may be used, as well as fat grafting. Sometimes, a combination is used to achieve this. The implants are filled with silicone and placed deep within the tissues in the buttocks via surgery.

Butt augmentations, however, are not intended to strictly remove excess fat from the area, nor are they meant to just add volume. There are more effective methods to add volume or achieve better contouring.

Who is a Good Candidate?

If you are in good physical health and are unhappy with the general shape of your butt, then you may be a candidate for a butt augmentation. However, a good candidate will also have realistic expectations; please call the office of Precision Plastic Surgery to learn more. Patients whose butts are asymmetrical or too small are generally, but not always, considered good candidates.

Please keep in mind that a butt augmentation is a very individualized procedure. The ideal patient will want to have the procedure done for himself or herself, not anyone else.

The Operation

To begin, liposuction is done to remove any excess fat from the area. The fat is then processed to remove unwanted oils and tissue. It is then injected back into the area via a syringe attached to a thin cannula. Three small incisions are made. The fat is grafted to tailor the shape of the buttocks, and all incisions are then closed.

Following surgery, a compression garment is typically used for several weeks to promote healing and optimal results.
